It uses the camera to get the background which takes only part of it, whatever the camera is seeing and it doesnt match exactly with the background, like the screenshots try to make you believe.

Its OK but would look more decent if you could scale/zoom-in or out the actual live image. This would allow you to fine tune and match the image it captures to the background.
Doesnt look as well as it could on iPhone. I wouldnt waste my money on it.
This app doesnt really do anything as interesting as the "hovering clock" idea might make you think. It is slow to respond and just plain irritating. Might be fun for free, but not worth buying unless upgraded.
Масштаб картинки и позиция не совпадают с фоном, желаемого эффекта Нет!!! Не тратьте деньги! И мои бы неплохо вернуть!!!! The scale of the picture and position dont coincide with a background, the desirable effect Isnt present! ! ! Dont spend money! And it is quite good to return mine! ! ! !
It doesnt blend into the environment AT ALL! All those promo pics are fake. I seriously want my money back.
Photo background only really works if propped up, otherwise the camera wont work. This really limits the functionality. Cant customize font for time and is hard to read in upright mode. I jumped the gun on this due to an online review by John Brownlee from Cult of Mac Mobile. Last time I take a recommendation from him. I wish I had my 99 cents back.
Dont get it.
The chameleon aspect of the app would be very cool, but it does not work. Instead of a see through appearance, it turns the scene behind it sideways or upside down and does NOT put it in perspective.
Like it very much; it needs a few more options like being on when your phone is locked, but lots of potential.
I love this simple yet elegant (and minimalist) app. Well worth three times the price. Is it just me, or did anyone else notice the time on the launch icon? Waving the flag of subliminal activism?
Works as advertised but buggy. Camera mode doesnt always start properly and Cham mode is useless as it doesnt pick colors well. This is really an interesting idea that could be good with bugs fixed and these improvements: Change font type and size Ability to move clock display on screen Capture an image to use as background Include alarm clock function Zoom and pan to be able to get exact background to match perspective These would make it worth $1. Otherwise skip this app.
The app works as intended. The minimal clock display is very pleasing, and both the chameleon and the camera backgrounds work fine. Additional display options like font type/size/color would be great. Also, it would be nice to be able to freeze/zoom/pan the camera background so that you can match the display and the real background more seamlessly.
Good idea, looks catchy. Im sure theyre going to make a killing on the 99c sales. The concept is good, but it just doesnt work. fortunately its not their fault. its the fault of the hardware. the aspect ratio of where the iPad stands, vs where the camera is looking is off, way off. so its basically a $0.99 clock.
Flips the image upside down.
I liked it - a simple gadget. Works for both the phone and the iPad, which makes a 99¢ clock fine. I noticed the time on the icon too….
This app definitely does what it claims, but its an impractical application of the idea. The real problem is the camera and the cameras perspective. Sitting in a dock, etc. -- unless set with plenty of space between device and background -- the image behind the clock will likely be blurred, or just a different enough perspective to break the "see-through" illusion, or just uninteresting. Neat idea... but save your 99¢.
This is great for my office at home and work! With the "chameleon" mode, the phone and clock blend into the background, letting me focus on my work distraction free. Simple and easy to use gesture based controls that let you quickly tweak the click to your environment.
But what happens when I set my iPhone down is that I get a black screen. How about allowing use of the front camera? Or coming w/ a kickstand?
Its a nice idea but at the end of the day its just a cheap trick. Its buggy and only really works if your phone is either standing upright, or on a stand. My phone is either on my pocket or flat on my desk so for me its pretty pointless.
